The Verein Selbstbestimmt leben in Nordhessen – SliN e.V. (Association for Self-determined Living in Northern Hesse) – is a complementary independent participation counselling centre – EUTB® – in the Zentrum für selbstbestimmtes Leben behinderter Menschen (Centre for Self-determined Living for Disabled People) – ZsL® – in Kassel and is recognised by the federal association of the interest group “Selbstbestimmt leben in Deutschland” e.V. (Self-Determined Living in Germany) – ISL.

We offer counselling in the city and district of Kassel for
- people with various disabilities and chronic illnesses
- their relatives
- employees of organisations, institutions and authorities
Who we are
The association Selbstbestimmt leben in Nordhessen – SliN e. V. – was founded in 2016 by people with various disabilities as a self-representation organisation offering peer counselling that is independent and run by disabled people themselves in accordance with the Federal Participation Act.
